Remedial method for water leakage of submersible pump

Most of the water leakage failures of submersible pumps are caused by aging and wear of sealing devices. 

In addition to replacing new sealing elements, the following simple methods can also be taken to remedy.

1、 The sealing ring of the submersible pump loses its elasticity due to long-term use. At this time, the sealing ring can be taken out,

-cut a piece of paper or cloth with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm into a pad slightly larger than the original 

sealing ring and installed in the groove, the original sealing ring can be installed later.

2、 If the rubber sealing ring in the nylon sealing seat is worn,the sealing ring can be taken out and installed in a different position. 

If the fastening spring on the sealing ring loses its elasticity or breaks, the spring can be removed and fastened with a steel wire or iron wire of appropriate diameter.

3、 If the first sealing ring is seriously worn, take out the nylon sealing ring, 

-coat the asbestos rope with butter, wrap it on the stainless steel sleeve and fill it slightly higher than the original nylon seat, 

-fill it with butter, and then compress the nylon seat with bolts.

4、 If the seal ring between the seal box and the cast iron loses its elasticity, take the seal ring out of the cast iron groove, 

-find a piece of hard paper shell with a thickness of 0.6 to 1mm, 

-cut it into the same size, pad it in the groove, and then put the seal ring in.

5、 If the rubber seal ring of the oil hole is damaged, you canfind a piece of adhesive tape。

-cut it into a hole slightly larger than the bolt

-add a flat gasket on the top

-put it together in the oil inlet hole of the bolt.
