Why Is The Water Output Of The Screw Submersible Pump Small?

What is the reason for the small water output of the screw submersible pump?

(1) The head is too high. The main reason is that the pump used is improperly selected, the specified head is too high, or the valve is not adjusted properly during the use of the pump, which makes the head of the pump too high. The treatment method is to use it according to the specified range of the submersible pump, appropriately reduce its use head or select another submersible pump with appropriate specifications.

(2) Blockage of the filter screen.  If the filter screen is blocked, the water intake of the pump will not be smooth, and the water output of the submersible pump will be reduced. The treatment method is to remove water plants and sundries inside and outside the filter screen and around the submersible pump. 

(3) The direction of rotation is opposite. The direction of rotation of the submersible pump is opposite, and the water output will be very small. The treatment method is to exchange the position of any two phases of the current drawn by the submersible pump and the power supply. 

(4) Blockage of the impeller of the water pump or the channel of the pump body.  Blockage of the impeller or channel of the pump body of the submersible electric pump will directly cause the submersible pump to fail to work normally. The treatment method is to disassemble and inspect the water pump, and remove the sundries in the water pump impeller and the flow channel of the pump body. 

(5) The pump impeller or pump cover is worn. The treatment method is to dismantle the stainless steel sewage pump, repair or replace the impeller and pump cover.

Working Principle 

There are several types of submersible pumps. The wires in the motor are oil-immersed, water-immersed, and dry. You must read the manual before using it, and you can’t make a mistake. If you don't use it for a long time, you must turn the impeller before using it, otherwise it will burn .

• Before starting the pump, the suction pipe and the pump must be filled with liquid.

• After the pump is turned on, the impeller rotates at a high speed, and the liquid in it rotates with the blades. 

• Under the action of centrifugal force, it flies away from the impeller and shoots out. The speed of the injected liquid gradually slows down in the diffusion chamber of the pump casing, and the pressure gradually increases. 

• Outlet, the discharge pipe flows out. At this time, a vacuum low-pressure area with neither air nor liquid is formed at the center of the blade because the liquid is thrown around. 

• Under the action of atmospheric pressure on the pool surface, the liquid in the liquid pool flows into the pump through the suction pipe, and the liquid is continuously sucked up from the liquid pool and flows out from the discharge pipe continuously.
