Reasons for the pump body to heat up when using the water pump:

‌1. Bearing damage: Bearing damage will increase friction, causing the pump body to heat up. Insufficient or excessive lubricating oil (grease) in the bearing, poor quality, mud, iron filings and other debris, and bearing clearance that does not meet the requirements will cause the bearing to heat up.

‌2. Severe friction in the pump: The friction between the internal components of the pump will increase heat generation and cause the pump body to heat up.

‌3. The pump shaft is bent or the two shafts are not concentric: This will cause the water pump to vibrate, and then cause the bearing to heat up or wear.

‌4. Increased axial thrust: For example, when the balance disk and balance ring in the water pump are severely worn, the axial load increases, causing the bearing to heat up or even damage.

‌5. The tape is too tight: Too tight tape will increase friction and cause the pump body to heat up.

‌6. The oil return hole of the mechanical seal is blocked: This will hinder the normal circulation of the oil and cause the pump body to heat up.
