Features

Warning: Ensure that the pump does not run dry

Starting 

1. Before starting, check whether the pump is installed and connected to the power supply correctly.

2. The float switch is directly connected to the pump to control the start and stop of the pump. Check whether the float switch can move freely without interference from other objects.

3. For pumps without a float switch structure, the pump starts when the pump is completely immersed in water. If the motor is not completely immersed in water or runs for too long in water temperatures above 40°C, the motor will stop. When the motor coil temperature is too cold, the thermal protection device automatically turns.

4. Start the pump and let it rotate for a few seconds. Check its start, operation and rotation direction (for three-phase pumps, after finding the wrong rotation direction, you should rotate two phases and then start again). If you find that there is no or little water flowing out, it means that the pump rotation direction is faulty and you should rotate the phase.

Operation of SP Series Stainless Steel Deep Well Pump:

• When the water pump is running, you must pay attention to the water level (especially when running at a small capacity). Once the water level is not high enough, the water pump must be prohibited from running. If the water pump runs for a long time without water, the motor or coil will be burned out.

• The actual lifting length (from the water surface to the destination) should not be less than 80% of the specified lifting height (see the nameplate for the lifting height).

• The voltage fluctuation range should be within 10% of the rated voltage, otherwise it will reduce the life of the motor or even damage the motor.

• When the water pump is running, if any abnormal phenomenon is found, such as abnormal sound, less or no water output, the power should be turned off immediately and the pump should be stopped. Do not touch the pump body when the pump is powered on or wet

  
  

1. Grounding

Warning: The pump voltage must be consistent with the power supply network. Electric shock hazard. The installer must ensure grounding. Electric shock hazard. The supplied current must ensure the installation of an automatic contact protector.

Single-phase: Single-phase pump with grounded plug power cord.

Three-phase: The ground wire must be connected to the power grid.

2. Overload protection: 

The dispenser is equipped with a built-in automatic thermal overload overload protector, so other protection devices are no longer required.

3. Three-phase pump rotation direction test: 

The rotation direction of the pump motor shaft will affect the water head and water transmission. The correct rotation direction is clockwise from the water inlet of the pump.

4. When using an extended cable, ensure that voltage drops are avoided and the joints are kept dry.

5. Outdoor switches or joints should have rain covers and moisture-proof measures. Do not touch wet switches or touch switches with wet hands.

6. Wiring should be implemented by professional qualified electricians and should comply with relevant safety standards.
